Under the instruction of Professor Sixten Abbot, we were asked to design a tour poster given only a location and a celebrity. The poster was to serve as a template for each stop on the tour. We were given the freedom to choose what type of tour this was for, but required to include the following elements: tour name, list of venues and dates, the specific location of this show, and an image of the celebrity.
The celebrity and location I was provided was Drew Barrymore and Woodstock, NY. I chose to make a tour poster for a talk show which I titled The Drew Show. My design was based on the black and white image I found of young Drew Barrymore. I wanted to stay with this vintage and monochrome theme, so I decided to not incorporate any color. I kept my poster very simple and fully committed to having a minimal poster.
